The annual Douglas County, Oregon home school Geography Bee will be Friday, January 9 at 11:00 AM. We will once again have the bee at the Douglas County Library in Roseburg. The questions are sent to us by the National Geographic Society and are not known to any participant until the bee. You can have your child study by going to the National Geographic website and searching for the National Geographic Bee. Reviewing US geography and National Parks is a great place to start. Our winner will take a written test to see if he/she will qualify for the State Geographic Bee to be held in April 2015. It's a fun way to learn geography, so let's have a great turnout of students competing and students and families cheering the competitors on! If you have any questions, please call David at 679-1251. See you there!
